Sunday Worship
Traditional, conservative Anglican worship of God
Our traditional, conservative Anglican worship incorporates time-honored hymns with the biblically-centered Book of Common Prayer (1928). We follow the admonition in I Corinthians 14:40 that in worship "all things should be done decently and in order".
Our worship service is familiar to most English-speaking people as it uses the rich prose of the first prayer book written in the English. “Ashes to Ashes, dust to dust” and “Dearly beloved, we are gathered together here in the sight of God…” are just two of the phrases from traditional Anglican worship that are incorporated into our modern vernacular.
We use time-honored hymns to complement our traditional prayers in the worship of Almighty God. We have not changed the words of these classics and as such they still contain the rich theology found in historic Christian music.
