The Who's, What's, Why's and Wherefore's
The Church of Our Saviour - Oatlands
Our historic chapel was consecrated in 1878, but dedicated Christians had been worshiping at the Oatlands plantation since well before then.
We are a rural church in fast-growing Loudoun County, Virginia. Our church, parish hall and cemetery front on US Route 15 at Goose Creek, six miles south of Leesburg and four miles north of US Route 50.
The Rev. Elijah B. White began his ministry here leading services as a seminarian. After heading an Anglican seminary in Fiji and four years as a rural Rector in Virginia he returned as Rector in 1977. The Rev. William E. Wilson, PhD, worshipped here for ten years before entering seminary and then returning as Curate in 2008.
The Church of Our Saviour at Oatlands is a member of the worldwide Anglican Communion under the apostolic authority of the Most Rev. Robert Duncan, Archbishop of the Anglican Church in North America
